NOT stock photos, you will receive exactly what you see, view the pictures for condition. Pretty good shape, pictures show any flaws. The worst flaw is that the right shoulder strap is torn. Other than that we don't see any other flaws, but we might have missed something, which is why we took a lot of pictures. NSN#8465-261-6931, Contract # DSA1-2384-63-E

Information & History of the US Army and Marine Corp US Army & Marine Corp Vietnam US Army & Marine Corp M1952 Type I Mountain Rucksack 8 LEATHER Straps:

A descendant of the WWII design Mountain Rucksack and favored by Special Forces troops in Vietnam, the M1952 Rucksack consisted of a large cotton duck pack with three outside pockets supported by a tubular steel frame. The main pouch and the three outside pockets had leather strap and buckle closures, whilst the pack flap pocket had a zip fastener.

The left side of rucksack boasted three cotton duck equipment hangers, whilst the right side featured a rifle-securing strap. The rucksack was also equipped with a waist strap to keep it centered on the back and a quick-release snap hook on the left shoulder strap.
