Designed by Gentex for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, the Gentex HGU-84/P Rotary Wing Helmet provides protection and comfort in a lightweight, low profile design.
Bungee-style dual visor capability
Integrates with Gentex performance enhancing accessories to provide industry leading comfort, stability, retention and protection
Low profile design provides field of view that exceeds many other rotary wing helmet systems
Provides impact protection without added weight using advanced Styrofoam energy absorbing liner and a rigid Graphlon® composite for the shell
X Liner optimized fit and comfort to further enhance mission endurance
Dual visor assembly (this helmet only has the grey as shown in pictures) easily attach and meet requirements of MIL-V-43511 for optical performance and impact resistance. Visor lenses are abrasion resistant coated, meeting requirements of MIL-C-83409. Clear, gradient, high contrast, and laser attenuating visors can be purchased separately when available
Integrated chin/nape strap provides added stability and withstands strength test of 300 lbs
Industry leading sound attenuation
Adjustable ear cup positions to optimize fit, comfort and noise attenuation
Customizable communication systems based on indivudual mission requirements

MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask Details:

Pressure demand systems
Low profile design providing excellent stability during high-G maneuvers and anti-roll webs to prevent downward roll
Designed to replace the Gentex MBU-5/P
Superior comfort and efficiency including downward vision
Advanced designed of the combination-breathing valve provides greatly reduced exhalation resistance during pressure breathing and a rolling diaphragm reduces the potential for valve sticking caused by residue accumulation
This unique combination valve meets or exceeds all performance requirements of MIL-V-27296
Configurable with M-101 Microphone and M-169 Microphone with Amp from Gentex or other mask mounted amplifiers and features a silicone rubber faceseal integrally bonded to a high strength gray polysulfone plastic hardshell

The unit meets or exceeds the requirements of the U.S. Air Force Specification MIL-M-87163
