This is a very interesting older style rucksack with a lot of cool features
The main compartment as 3 smaller pockets that secure closed with velcro
The smaller front zippered closed compartment also has 3 pockets closed with velcro and a zipper diagonal pocket on the front that. It also has a row of heavy nylon for attachment of other pouches that use either MOLLE, ALICE or PALS attachment. Pouches like Medic, M4 M16 magazines etc.
There are large padded/insulated side sustainment type pouches sewn on. Inside the right one is a pistol holster and magazine pouch
There are 2 smaller velcro closure attached pouches on top of the side of the pack
Padded shoulder pads and waist belt
Padded pocket at the back bottom of the pack
4 D rings
Cinch straps with quick release buckles
Velcro covered grommet port hole for antenna for your MBITR radio or hydration tube
There are heavy nylon straps with buckles at the top of the back of the pack to secure items like a Modular Sleeping System, Jungle Hammock, sleep pad or the like.
