This cap is made of the highest Kingsform premium fabric which is 55/45 polyester/wool Elastique fabric which is wrinkle resistant and will allow the cap to maintain a great military appearance through frequent wear (and storage when not in use)

A service cap is not just a cap -- there are definite quality differences among the manufacturer's and vendors. Marlow White ONLY sells this cap made by Kingform and charges $85.00. Glenn Army Surplus price is $59.95.

Upgrades done by Kingsform Caps:

Higher quality gloss chin strap and visor. Other vendors opt for a matte-finishe material for chin and visor. Both materials are authorized but the high-gloss material is sharper and more professional.
The U.S. Coat of Arms (the eagle) on Kingform cap is perfectly centered on the emblem disc. Other vendors will always be visibly off center. Both bear the authorized hallmark from the Institute of Heraldry, but the other vendor's quality has slipped
The emblem on the Kinform cap is 22k gold-plated and is the proper color - the color of polished brass, the other vendor's emblem is too dark and orange in appearance.
Kingform uses quality leather for its sweatband, which absorbs sweat better and is .045 inches thick for better comfort, compared to other manufacturer's who use a laminated vinyl, which is hotter, less comfortable and a thinner thickness of .030 inches.
The Kingform technique for sewing the sweatband on results in a more comfortable an dconsistent shape as compared to a quick, chepaer and more generic technique that is less comfortable and minimizes the life and sharp appearance of the cap.
Kingsform foam cushion extends across the entire front of the cap, increasing comfort on the sides of your forehead. Other manufacturer's foam cushion covers the center portion of the forehead only.
Kingsform visor backing is made of a quality leather which gives the visor some flexibility for comfort. Other manufacturer's visor backing is made of a stiff plastic.
