Great condition! See photos, not stock photos, you will receive what you see. We carefully look it over and circle in red ANY flaws we find, no matter how slight. The only (potential) flaw we see is a dirty spot on the bottom right back part of the coat, might wash out, don't know for sure.

Sleeve were made with adjustable cuffs to permit sleeve to be rolled up
A drain hole is provided at the bottom of each pocket to allow water to drain out
Coat is made longer than normal in order that Load Carrying Equipment and Body Armor does not cover pockets, so a 'short' length will not actually be short on an average 'regular' height person (see drop down sizing chart and expect this coat to fit a 'regular height' operator 67" to 71" in height)
No name, rank or U.S. Army or U.S. Marine Corp sewn on and no evidence any ever where as can be seen in detailed pictures
This is the Second Pattern Type III / Class I: The first patter 'Type I' had exposed buttons and the Army Material Command ordered a revision because the buttons had a tendency to snag on brush. In the Type II pattern The buttons were covered, but the epaulettes, side take up tabs and gas flap were retained. and this pattern only lasted from late 1965 to 1967 when this pattern, 'Type III' was introduced late 1966 / early 1967. It is a simplified version of the second pattern. The coat lost its side take up tabs, gas flap and shoulder epaulettes. Class I was OG-107 and Class II was ERDL Camouflage in either green dominant or brown dominant (a few of these jackets are sold in separate listings).
Most important to understand about this jacket is that it is poplin cotton ripstop which had a very limited production occuring in late 1967 with the first contract for the ripstop pants. In mid / late 1968, the more durable ripstop had taken over the majority of production and 1969 saw the end of poplin productin as manufacturers finished out early 3rd pattern contracts with stock poplin material on hand.
